A gem that that has lost its sparkle.

The room is very good and spacious. Service from check-in to the restaurant was appalling. Food is inedible and you do not have a choice, as you are nowhere near any other eating facilities. Breakfast was an absolute disaster, by 09h30 no bacon, mince, chicken livers or anything on the buffet. You were left with an omelette that the chef cooked to order but he could not even get the correct ingredients into your omelette as ordered. Although I understand that the venue is child-friendly, the noise in the restaurant from children at dinner was unacceptable. The fake plastic flowers on the tables are absolutely "kitch". Surely being in Tzaneen you could have just put a bouganvilla flower or an azalea on the table.

We had a great stay.

We struck a great repour with Takalani. The remainder of the staff was also courteous and friendly. The disappointment was the spa was closed and we weren't advised at all. Other than that, it was a great experience and can recommend it to anyone. I loved the old-school woodwork finishes all over the property.

Rustige wegbreek na 'n lang jaar.

Ideale plek vir 'n jaarlikse wegbreek vir ons, 'n hele week van rus en lekker eet. Buiteseisoen, nie te besig met rustige restaurant, kroeg en spa op versoek.

Covid trap, swak diens en oneetbare kos.

Spa-pryse baie billik, heerlike staproete rondom die hotel en spa - al die pad plavei.

Lekker kos en rustige omgewing.

Nie meer dieselfde hotel as vroeër jare nie. Net maar nog 'n hotel. Kamers en tuine verwaarloos. Ontvangs vriendelik, maar geen inligting word gegee nie. Moet maar vra. Kamer eers 14:00 kom skoonmaak. Het gereën en moes in deurmekaar kamer kuier. Inligtingbrosjure in kamer uit toet se dae. Ou vuil poskaarte binne-in. Bedlampe hang skeef. Daar word nie aandag aan fyn detail gegee nie. Lêstoele by swembad van swak gehalte (maak seer as jy daarop lê). Hotel kort opknapping. Personeel vriendelik.

Ons het alles by ons verblyf in orde gevind.

By die Coach House Hotel en Spa stap mens terug in tyd. Die ouwêreldse atmosfeer en koninklike behandeling was 'n belewenis. Ons het die kamers skoon en gerieflik gevind. Die personeel was almal vandat ons gearriveer totdat ons vertrek het almal uiters beleef, vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Ontbyt was ingesluit in ons bespreking en ons het ook 'n aandete in die restaurant geniet - baie goed geprys en elke dis was heerlik! Ons sal definitief weer by die Coach House tuisgaan en ook aanbeveel by al ons vriende en kennisse.

Coach House Hotel is situated in a beautiful spot with wonderful views on the Drakensberg mountains! The history of the hotel goes a long way back. The furnishings in the Coach House Hotel rooms are oldish and may need some change at a certain stage. The room that we were booked in had a very strong smoke smell from the fireplace inside the room. We asked for an alternative room and the staff gladly assisted us. Our room had all the amenities that you would expect from a 5 star hotel, except for the fact that there were no bath sheets, but only bath towels. The food served in the restaurant was excellent!!
