Description
Cornellskop Country Stay is a 118-hectare farm situated in the picturesque Van der Stel Pass Valley in Bot River which offers guests a tranquil farm stay with quality accommodation and a unique opportunity to have encounters with rescued wildlife on a guided tour with skilled guides.
Accommodation is offered in three units, namely the 12-sleeper Homestead Family Holiday Home, the 2-sleeper Swallows Rest unit and the 4-sleeper Nguni House. All three units are individually furnished and are fully equipped for self-catering. Free Wi-Fi and braai facilities are also available.
Guests can enjoy the spectacular sounds of lions, hyenas, cheetahs, ostriches, foxes, wolves, peacocks, nightjars, and the resident Emerald Cuckoo and Yellow-billed Kite. The farm dam also offers 3 jetties and both animal encounters and farm tours can be arranged prior to arrival, and guests can enjoy an approximate 3 km hike through the Renosterveld on the farm, go mountain biking, or enjoy a picnic. Secure parking is also available on the premises.
