Description
Corona Guest Farm is situated on the C26, approximately halfway between Windhoek and Walvis Bay. Surrounded by the mountain range, Corona Guest Farm is positioned right in the centre of a plateau at the foot of the imposing ‘Gamsberg’, 1 of the highest mountains in Namibia.
Accommodation is offered in 4 family rooms and 7 standard rooms. Each room is individually decorated and has its own private bathroom. The rooms are reached from the main lounge and dining room area. The main area of the guest farm features high ceilings and offers a pleasant, cool temperature. There is a collection of old antiques and a variety of foreign and exotic mementos, not to mention some rugs, animal skins and an assortment of carvings. The open-plan dining area and lounge are next to a small bar.
The guest farm also offers a swimming pool away from the main house, alongside where guests can sunbathe or lounge in the shade beneath ancient jacaranda trees. There are a variety of activities in the area for guests to enjoy such as going in search of bushmen’s drawings, and viewing and photographing game such as kudu, oryx, and the rare mountain zebra.
