Unwelcoming and disappointing.

Crestline Phoenix is located in a lovely place. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. However, a few things really did ruin our stay. For example, when we arrived, the house wasn't clean (dirty ear buds were found everywhere, tags of clothing everywhere, as well as tissues, etc.). There was no toilet seat on the toilet. We ended up finding it and installing it ourselves. There was also no toilet paper, so we had to go and buy some. There was meant to be complimentary WiFi, however it didn't work, and this meant that because it didn't work, the TV didn't work as it runs on the WiFi. We messaged the host to ask how we could fix it, etc., and we still haven't had a response. On arrival, our beds weren't made, and we had to put duvet covers on ourselves, etc. Overall, the place is lovely, but due to all these unfortunate events, our holiday felt more like a work day.

Peaceful and aesthetically pleasing.

The place was beautiful, definitely worth every penny. My only issue was the access at the main gate. I wish we had a tag or remote to access easily with no hassle. The security guards were a bit strict about having to call the host every time to enter and exit, no matter the time, which was annoying because sometimes they wouldn’t answer. But we definitely enjoyed our stay; it was quite peaceful.
