Very nice place, very quiet, the correct place if you just want to relax and basically do nothing. The gravel road into the place is a bit challenging, and as they state, an SUV or 4x4 is needed. Ons was die naweek van 17 November by Crocriver en hoe verstom was ons nie! Die chalet is pragtig, netjies en tenvolle toegerus. Ons het baie lekker gekuier op die groot dek met die rivier wat al kabelend verby vloei. Daar het ons gesels, gebraai en rustig gesit en boeklees. Die voëllewe is verstommend! We were at Crocriver the weekend of November 17th and how amazed we were! The chalet is beautiful, neat and fully equipped. We had a great time on the large deck with the river flowing by. There we chatted, barbecued and sat quietly reading books. The bird life is amazing! We will definitely visit again next year. I definitely recommend Crocriver for a getaway to Schoemanskloof!

Well-appointed, splendid location.

We really enjoyed the chalet, but we ended up having to drive in and out a few times, which was a pain on the rough road, but not the end of the world.

A soul enriching experience in Paradise.

In all our travels we have not had such a peaceful and pleasant rest in a little paradise called Crocriver Chalet, and to be blessed with such warm and loving hospitality from our awesome hosts Johan and Bets. A definite must on places to stay!

Peaceful Paradise.

We were blessed to stay at Crocriver Chalet during the October School holidays with our 9-year-old daughter. The chalet is well-equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The view from the verandah is breathtaking, and we spent most of our days lazing on the verandah soaking up the beautiful surroundings. The hosts were absolutely amazing, and we will most definitely love to stay at Crocriver Chalet again!
