Wonderful B&B in a beautiful Worcester.

My partner and I spent two nights at De Bergen on our way to Cape Town, where we enjoyed the most wonderful time in the lovely and very underrated gem that is Worcester. I picked De Bergen when booking our accommodation as I planned to visit the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden while there, and it is located very nearby. Annelize was a very friendly, kind and attentive host, who reached out personally before we arrived. Upon arrival, she surprised us by letting us know that we had received a free upgrade and was on hand to help make us feel at home after the long drive. The room itself was great: neat, clean and stocked with some lovely treats and breakfast goodies. After our warm welcome, the only things that were cold were the complimentary milk, wading pool outside our unit and air conditioner inside – the latter two providing extremely welcome relief from the 39°C heat!
