This charming cottage is tucked away among the milkwood trees, a short walk from the vlei and the Melkkamer Manor House. The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, an open-plan sitting room with a dining area, and a kitchen, as well as a braai area. The cottage has 1 bathroom with a bath, basin and toilet, as well as an outdoor shower. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed and the other 2 bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge-freezer, an oven and stove, basic cutlery and crockery, basic kitchen utensils, and dish-washing liquid and a sponge. Braai equipment is also provided. Guests can fetch the braai grid from reception. The Foremans Cottage is ideal for family getaways or for a small group of friends. There is no electricity.

The cottage does not have electricity. Melkkamer Vlei Cottage is set on a unique wetland location, ideal for families or small groups, especially keen birders.
