De Lichthuis is a self-catering holiday cottage with a private entrance on the owner’s property which is located in the heart of Vredendal. This could be a great option for either a couple or a business traveller.

This cottage can comfortably accommodate 2 guests at a time and comprises a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with a 3-plate stove with a mini-oven, microwave, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests are afforded secure parking on the property.

The location of this property is close to the Olifants River in Namaqualand which is known for its beautiful wildflowers from late July, August to September. This area is also known for its distinctive succulent flora, prosperous farming sector and numerous wineries.
