Incredible getaway in a breathtaking and magnificent tranquil setting. De Stal on Vaal has an authentic rustic farm riverside feel, excellently laid out and equipped with all the creature comforts. The hosts were very friendly, considerate, and thoughtful in making your stay in Douglas memorable! The farmhouse has something for everyone to do and enjoy, whether you are active like us or just want to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful nature. There are many activities like walking, mountain biking, canoeing, and fishing. The property has a large covered braai area outside on the front porch with plenty of seating and shelter for both winter and summer braais/barbecues, and guests can enjoy their morning coffee, sandwiches, or evening sundowners from there. In the evening, you are mesmerized by the river and golden sun-sprinkled sunsets.
