Peaceful getaway with very friendly staff and beautiful nature surroundings.

We had a wonderful 5 day break at the Nightjar Cottage between Christmas and New Year. The hostess, Juanita, was super friendly and helpful and made sure we settled in comfortably. The photos are true to the accommodation, the cottage was even better than what we expected. We felt very safe and had a lot of privacy. It was a wonderful break away from the city for us.

Eerte keer in al die jare wat ek van webtuiste se besprekings gebruik maak en glad nie tevrede is nie. Dit wat adverteer word en die werklikheid totaal iets anders. Met ons aankoms word ons ingelig dat daar geen diens (skoonmaak en kinderoppasser} is nie, want dit is Kersnaweek. Quiet and very beautiful.

The location and place is incredibly beautiful, there is everything one needs. It is very animal friendly and our dog enjoyed the lawn and pond very much. I would suggest paying attention to the little things, e.g. Quality bedding (the 'inner' didn't fit in the cover), I would also put a small net to be able to clean the hot tub itself. A perfect place to unwind and recharge the batteries.

We loved our stay, it was so peaceful with only the sounds of nature to listen to. The wood-fired hot tub was amazing and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
