Oude-Rest is a comfortably furnished self-catering apartment with a separate entrance located on the owner’s property in the heart of Oudtshoorn. This is an ideal option for a small family getaway for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

This flatlet can accommodate a total of 5 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom contains a bunk bed and a single bed. A camping cot is available on request. A shower-over-bath, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with a 2-plate stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a breakfast bar with stools. There is a washing machine and a drying rack for clothes. Guests need to bring their own washing powder. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge with 2 couches and a TV with a full selection of DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

The unit opens up onto a covered patio and includes private outdoor braai facilities. Guests are afforded undercover parking behind a remote-controlled gate. Oudtshoorn offers a variety of activities such as walking and hiking trails, mountain biking and 4x4 trails. Guests can also visit various attractions such as the Cango Caves, the Ostrich Farm, the Cango Wildlife Ranch, the CP Nel or the CJ Langenhoven Museum.
