Description
Divava Okavango Resort & Spa is perched on the banks of the Okavango River in the Kavango region of Namibia, approximately 1 km from the Popa Falls which can be heard from the lodge. The lodge, along with the restaurant, the spa, and the rooms overlook the mighty Okavango River.
Accommodation is offered in 20 luxury, air-conditioned chalets located on a high riverbank, offering incredible views of the river. Each spacious chalet has a large deck, providing a front row seat for spotting wildlife. Each chalet is equipped with comfortable beds with stylish mosquito nets, a mini bar, tea-and coffee-making facilities, and air-conditioning. The en-suite bathroom has a bath tub, a separate shower and a separate toilet, as well as an outdoor shower for the nature experience.
The elegant restaurant serves international cuisine and wines, and on most evenings, a 5-course dinner is served. The lodge also offers a light à la carte menu for lunch, and breakfast is served as a buffet. Divava’s spa offers incredible views, as well as strategically planned treatment rooms to ensure privacy. Treatments include back and neck massages, 1 hour full body massages, hot-stone massages, and body wraps and scrubs. The lodge offers a steam room, a swimming pool, a wine cellar, a bar, babysitting, room service, a laundry service, an outdoor dining area, and a park area. A 4X4 vehicle is recommended.
