Very bad experience.

I booked this place 3 months in advance. On arrival the main bedroom was flooded with water. The linen was not changed after the previous guests. The main bedroom bed had no sheets only mattress protector. The oven was not cleaned with a pie left inside. There was no toilet paper and no hand wash in bathrooms. Not enough teas for 5 guests, eg 1 coffee sachet and no sugar. We arrived at 7:30pm found the apartment in this state and informed the host. The host said she could not find the cleaner therefore we should look for alternative accommodation, not considering that it was late in the night, and we had been on the road for 5 hours and there was no alternative accommodation in Mossel Bay because it was holiday period. We then contacted website for help. Though website tried to help we could not find suitable accommodation for my family. We then requested to put up in those conditions and move out the next day. The host promised to refund us. The host then sent the cleaner which she had initially said she could not find, the cleaners just cleaned the water. They put bedding from the store that was not washed and with dust from the store. They wanted to put a dirty winter sheet with stains on the main bed claiming that it was a stain from sunscreen which I refused therefore we had to sleep on the mattress protector. Even after the cleaners came, they did not put toilet paper. When I told the host she did not respond. We only managed to go to bed at 11:30pm. After all this bad experience we didn't want to stay another night but the next day the host did not want to refund us, we spend 3 hrs fighting with website so that we can be refunded. We were then refunded 1 night but the host refused to refund or reduce the price for the night with bad experience. Our holiday was spoiled, holiday time wasted unnecessarily. The host was inconsiderate.

Die ligging is in Mosselbaai, maar naby aan Hartenbos, Groot Brak en Klein Brak.
