D's Lodge

Lovely place and enjoyed the amenities of the braai and patio set.

Excellent place to stay with the most thoughtful extra touches: an essential first aid kit, rusks for our morning coffee, and salt/pepper for the braai. Great value for money and a good view from atop the hill.

Voldoen aan verwagting.

Baie vriendelike ontvangs. Eenheid is heeltemal voldoende ingerig vir een of twee nagte se verblyf. Netjies en skoon.

Perfect except for the noisy area.

Everything was lovely, rusks, milk, even Rennies, plaster etc. in case you needed it. The only downside was its proximity to the hospital, so it was very busy and very noisy. The outside table is also rotten and warped and needs to be thrown away and replaced.

No water was available when we got there or left the next morning!

Had to wait for an hour for someone to let us in after letting them know what time to expect us. Shower head leaking at wall and one kitchen door off its hinges.

Spacious, comfy bed, well equipped, hot shower, Wi-Fi, TV, parking outside the room, lovely extras like a tot of sherry and rusks. Would definitely stay again when stopping off overnight!

Die akkommodasie is uiters netjies. Die plek is basies ingerig, maar voldoen aan selfsorg behoeftes. Die beddens was puik, wat gesorg het vir 'n goeie nagrus.

Nice b&b, very neat and clean.

The bed was very comfortable. Good hot shower and bathroom facilities. Kitchen: Tap mixer needs repair or securing. Only 1 cereal bowl. Surprisingly full DStv bouquet and a little decanter of port! And a hairdryer. No armchair or seating option other than barstools in kitchen or on the bed. Noise factor: This is my main objection that will mean no return. After a long travel, I enjoy peace and quiet. Not shown on advert are permanent residences on same property, and behind rental accommodation. Loud living: talking, laughter, baby crying, kids playing ball outside our window, music and for sure their normal living but for me uninterrupted noise all afternoon and well into the night. Sorry to complain, and of course, others may not find this an issue at all.

Ons was lekker verras! Vriendelik ontvang deur 'n hulpvaardige vrou. Met aankoms wag daar toe selfs 'n 'welcome drink'. Beste waarde vir geld nóg! Van WiFi tot 'n disprin kry jy hier. Uiters netjies en skoon. Sal dit vir enigiemand aanbeveel. Jy parkeer reg voor jou blyplekkie agter 'n hek en binne mure. Die plek lyk beter as op die foto's.

Baie geniet en heerlik geslaap.

Was vriendelik ontvang. Die eenheid was netjies en daar was alles wat jy nodig het vir n aand se oorslaap. Die handdoeke op die bed was soos Olifantjies opgerol - baie spesiaal.

The place is very clean with everything you need.

Clean and homely, you don't need to ask for anything because it is provided. A very warm welcome.

Pleasant with a very helpful lady to welcome us and see us settled in.

They contacted us to find out where we were as we were late getting to her and she was very helpful in directing us to the lodge. Very friendly.

I found D's to be clean and neat and excellent value for money. The service was friendly and efficient with our host contacting us while on the road and guiding us in.

The lady who works there is very friendly and accommodating. She made us feel comfortable.
