Description

Dunelm Guest Farm is situated near Clarens, in the centre of the mountainous Brandwater Basin of the Eastern Free State, near the Lesotho border. The accommodation is a renovated historic home on a working game farm between the mountains.

The guest farm offers spacious, self-catering units all with beautiful views of the farm and sandstone mountains. Each unit has 2 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms as well as a heater. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. All linen, blankets and towels are included. Complimentary soap and body lotion for the first night of stay is also included.

The spacious lounge has a built-in gas fireplace and is tastefully decorated. The lounge has an LCD TV with DStv connected with selected channels. It has a fully equipped kitchen with wooden cupboards and granite tops, tea- and coffee-making facilities are included as well as a complimentary sherry/ alcohol-free champagne on arrival. There is also a complimentary bag of charcoal for the first braai. The units are serviced on request, within the framework of COVID19 regulations. (Except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). Each has a covered patio with a built-in braai.

The guest farm also offers covered parking for guests' vehicles. Things to do on the farm includes long and short walking trails, game viewing and fishing, The farm is on the R711 just 17 km from Clarens in the direction of Fouriesburg.
