Dwarsvlei is a beautiful farm, to get to the farm house you drive through the most beautiful forest. . The house and garden are very impressive upon arrival. But there are no clear directions where to go. We did not understand whether we stay in the house or in other accommodation, there are several paths and options. The host and wife were very nice. . The bedroom was enormous with a double and 3 single beds, although there are no curtains on the window?. We assumed (probably wrongly) that we also had an en suite bathroom, but this was not the case, so we were grateful that we were the only guests for the night. The bathroom is down the hall and has a window looking out. The other window cannot close at all. Although it was January, it was an icy cold evening. We got up at 6am the next morning and it was still very cold and unpleasant to use the cold bathroom. The water was really warm. I also got a coffee mug that has a big 'chip' in it.
