House Rules
Please note that we are in a residential area and we have a strict no noise policy. Marloth Park is not a party venue. Guests are requested to honour the tranquility of the environment at all times. No parties, loud music/any music, talking loudly, noise are allowed on the premises. We respect the rights of our neighbours. NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE.
Please abide the rules of the house and be aware that should you may continue to transgress them after having been duly warned, you may be evicted from the house without refund of any payments.
A R1000 refundable deposit will be levied. The deposit will only be refunded on condition that the house is left in an acceptable condition, with no damage to the venue, cutlery, crockery, linen and furniture (including dishes).
If the air-conditioning is left on when you not at the house R50.00 per day will be charged and deducted from the deposit.
Guests need to provide their own swimming towels, DStv decoder and smart card.
- A maximum of 8 guests can be accommodated per booking. Should you contravene this arrangement you will be asked to vacate the premises without a refund.
- Swimming towels are not provided – only bath towels, so please bring your own swimming towels.
- The interior of Elephant-House is a smoke free area – please respect this request - no refund if the house smell smoke
- Please take note that no pets are allowed in Marloth Park
- The owners of Elephant-House take no responsibility for any injury, death, theft, or damage to property while guests make use of the facilities.
- Braai facilities - guests are required to bring their own braai grid and brush for the grid.
