A very good place to overnight in a town with few options.

Everything worked when there is no load shedding. Luckily we did not experience any. Nice braai area and sitting under the tree on the lawn late afternoon was good. The place is safe. Limited channels on TV, but not an issue nowadays when we watch programs on phones and iPads. For this the Wi-Fi is available.

We decided not to stay over but take the three-hour journey straight through to Constantia Kloof Roodepoort.

We did however stop at Fairydust Manor. It was clean and neat and welcoming. We were on the road from Johannesburg to Northern Cape for two weeks and decided we would rather go home.

A convenient stopover coming from the Northern Cape.

Lovely, big property with huge garden. Off the road and far from busy Main Road. Room was spacious. All we needed was available.

We found the experience enjoyable.

The stay at Fairydust Manor was very nice - the surroundings filled with farm atmosphere and sounds. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom nice and big and clean. The only thing I regret, was that I did not have a taste of the sherry on the table! I also enjoyed the breakfast at the main house. The egg and bacon was a bit dry from standing in a warmer, but the selection of food was fine - I loved the fresh fruit available.
