Description
Comfortably furnished to accommodate up to 5 guests, the cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and the second loft-style bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed. The bedrooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a basin, and all the beds are fitted with 100% cotton percale linen. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, a fridge-freezer, a convection microwave, a kettle, a toaster, as well as cutlery and crockery, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. The lounge is furnished with a comfy lounge suite and a wall-mounted Smart TV with Netflix; there is no DStv or satellite dish but feel free to hook up any of your devices to the Smart TV. The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area which has an outdoor 4-seater dining table, and lovely views of the surroundings.

The owners live on the premises with their 6 dogs.
A maximum of 2 friendly, socialized dogs are permitted by prior arrangement, and owners please need to bring their own pet towels, bedding and blankets.
Pets are not to be left unattended in the cottages and are not allowed on the couches or beds unless guests bring their own blankets for this. A pet cleaning fee may apply.
Please note that you will be required to accept the full terms and conditions of our pet policy as provided by the accommodation upon booking.
Please note that the luxury tree house is the only unit that is not pet friendly.
We have a 5GB per day fair usage policy for the LTE Wi-Fi. Should you exceed this data limit or require additional data, please enquire with us. 5GB will cost R64.00 per block. Netflix will consume 5-10GB per day if you run it all the time.
We do have a dam on the property that is stocked annually with trout. It is catch-and-release and fly fishing only.
Far Away Place is reached by a gravel road leading, and guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Enjoying beautiful views down the Karkloof Valley into the dairy fields and forest, the cottage can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and a loft bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge. The main bedroom is situated downstairs, is furnished with a queen-size bed. The second bedroom is situated upstairs, and furnished with a queen-size bed. The loft bedroom also contains a queen-size bed, and all the beds are fitted with Egyptian cotton linen. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a hob, a microwave, a kettle, as well as a toaster, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. There is a fireplace in the lounge for those chilly winter evenings, as well as a wall-mounted TV with Netflix.
