Featherdown Cottage is a charming original 1950s farmhouse situated in a prime spot along the East Coast in Gonubie Broads. The house offers guests spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation, ideal for a family or group of friends seeking farm-style accommodation.
The house consists of 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, which can ideally accommodate 4 adults and 5 children at a time. The main bedroom is furnished with a cot and a king-size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom is furnished with 2 bunk beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The house includes 2 dining tables that can each seat 4 guests. The living area features a TV with shared DStv and comfortable dining.
With views of the farm and dam, the backyard offers a fireplace and a braai area. A six-seater table and chairs are available for use when dining al fresco. Free Wi-Fi and secure parking are available to guests.
