Flintstones Guesthouse Fourways

Furniture looks old.

The place doesn't look exactly like what is advertised, the bathrooms look dirty and old. Everything is there.

Very noisy, next to the main road.

Big glass door that struggled to close. No torches or Magneto light for loadshedding, just one candle. The shower had a wooden plate to get in and out of and the nails on the end sticks out, nearly cut my foot open. Duvet was extremely lumpy. It is a feather down, but all the feathers were clumped in batches. Aircon in room, but no remote for it.

It was a lovely stay for a young couple looking to explore Johannesburg.

We had a serene, cosy place to come back to, after exploring the natural landscapes in outlying Johannesburg areas. It is at the centre of the North, which makes finding transportation and places to eat out easy peasy.

It was clean, quiet and we had friendly awesome service from Patricia.

We got all the amenities that we need. it was so quiet and everything was available to us. The braai area was clean and we even got wood and firelighters to braai. It is close to Monti Casino as well.

Close to nice restaurants, nice area.

Nie geskik vir bejaarde persone nie.

Trappe na dek (stoep) en dek self is beslis nie geskik vir bejaarde persone of self persone wat nie met gemak kan loop nie.

Heel tevrede met die geriewe.

Heel tevrede met die geriewe. Die kos wat laat was is vir seker ongerieflik gewees maar darem wel smaaklik. Die badkamer was ‘n bietjie stowwerig maar nie onhanteerbaar nie. Dit sou gerieflik gewees het as daar kragproppe naby die bedkassies was, dan sou dit nie nodig wees om jou selfoon op die spieëlkas te moet los waar jy moet uit die bed opstaan om by uit te kan kom nie (slegs ‘n gerieflikheidsvoorstel).

Baie raserig.

Potte en panne word al van vroeg oggend in die kombuis rond gegooi en mee geraas. Staff is ook blykbaar doof, want hulle skree heeldag vir mekaar. Kamers is geleë langs die kombuis en op die stoep waar mense tot laatnag sit en eet en raas. Sal hulle geensins aanbeveel nie. Ons het ook nie kans gesien vir die ontbyt na ek gesien het hoe die kombuis lyk nie. Ons het maar by 'n koffie-shop gaan eet.

Gerieflik en sentraal geleë na aan Monte Casino en ander besighede.

Verwelkoming was goed - personeel wat geëet het by ontvangs was egter steurend en nie professioneel. Nietemin, ligging en gerief met goeie ontbyt is waarde vir geld.

Nothing special.

It was OK, breakfast is OK, it was all OK. Restricting WiFi seemed a bit odd, frankly.

Die verblyf was skoon en netjies. Ontbyt was heerlik en die diens was baie goed.

Te veel betaal vir te min waarde.

Die prys vir twee mense is nie waarde vir geld nie - kamer is as "Superieur" geadverteer, maar is baie klein en glad nie luuks nie. Moes maar tevrede wees met twee enkelbeddens, waar koninggrootte-bed adverteer was. Ligging is baie goed, maar ek sal beter kan doen in dieselfde area vir dieselfde, indien nie laer prys nie.

Absoluut niks besonders nie.

Niks soos die foto's dit beskryf het nie. Nie waarde vir die geld wat ons betaal het nie. Sal beslis nie aanbeveel nie.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

The only shortcoming we experienced was that there was no fridge in the room, and as we were having a heat wave, we did miss one! There was no hair dryer in the room, but after asking for one, we prompltly received one. I will reccomend Flinstones without any reservation!

Linne in swak toestand. Saterdagaand geen warm water nie. Beligting in kamer, bedliggies het nie een gewerk nie.

Verblyf was nie goed nie.

Ons kamer was te klein om nog 2 kinders op matrasse op die vloer te plaas. Daar was geen warm water om te stort die volgende oggend nie. Ons moes 10 minute wag om 'n tafel te kry om ontbyt te eet.

Goeie waarde vir geld.

Dit het 'n lekker ligging naby aan die snelweg.

Baie aangename en vriendelike diens.

Ons verblyf was baie aangenaam.

Baie oulike plek, maar dit sal lekker wees om behoorlike stoele en 'n tafel in jou tuin te hê. Die asbak was seker 2 weke terug skoongemaak.

Kamer 16 is baie oulik en uniek, maar die tuin voor die skuifdeure kan doen met 'n tafel en stoele en die asbak kan daagliks skoongemaak word. Verder was die personeel vriendelik en die ontbyt was vars en heerlik. Die ingang is baie beperk vir groter voertuie en daaraan sal ook iets gedoen moet word.

Will definitely visit and stay over again at the Flintstones guesthouse in future.

Good value for money, and a home to home experience. Will recommend highly to other visitor's.

The guesthouse and facilities make it ideal for business travellers.

The part that I liked most about the guesthouse is the pool area - it is so relaxing and soothing.

Lots of fun, close to everything. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was nice. Rooms are nice and would definitely go back. Friends weren't happy with their B&B and they ended up taking the last 2 rooms at Flinstones, and we all had lots of fun.

Nice stay overall, frienly staff

We had a very nice stay at Flintstones Guesthouse. We would recommend that small carpets are put in front of the bed, since the tiles are very cold in winter. Also our toilet seat was slightly cracked. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

We had a good stay, but must say that reception could be more professional, and the limited parking was rather annoying. Otherwise good value for money, and in a good location.
