Description
Freines, situated 10 km outside George, is a charming holiday home surrounded by coastal forest, with the Outeniekwa Mountains in the distance. The location provides a stunning view of the Indian Ocean, making it an ideal base for exploring the scenic Garden Route.
This 4-bedroom self-catering house can comfortably accommodate a total of 10 guests. 3 of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor and are each furnished with a queen-size bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The fourth bedroom is furnished with 4 single beds and is located in the loft area. The guest bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet, and there is also a separate outdoor toilet.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area and upper loft area have flatscreen TVs. Guests have the option to request DStv Premium at a daily rate. Additionally, complimentary access to YouTube is provided, and Netflix is available with a connection fee upon request.
This unit is equipped with solar panels and a 3kW inverter system, ensuring minimal inconvenience during load power outages.
The living area leads to a covered outside porch area with large sliding doors for a breathtaking sea view, a large yellow wood dining table, and comfortable seating. There is also a large fire hearth braai in the living area.
Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises behind an electric safety gate. Activities in the area include fishing, paragliding, diving, water skiing, hiking, bird watching, whale watching in season, and horse riding.
