God's Window Cottage

Absolutely what we needed, very beautiful. The photos don't do justice.

This cottage truly exceeded all expectations! Tucked away in breathtaking isolation, surrounded by lush, vibrant nature. One of the highlights of our stay was the close encounters with playful monkeys. The cottage itself is romantic and cosy, providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning. 10/10.

Dit was heerlik om die natuur so om 'n mens te kan geniet.

God's Window mense is baie gaaf en het so lekker kano ritte gevaar op 'n pragtige rivier net daar onder. Fiets gery en lekker gekuier was heerlik.

Stukkie hemel op aarde.

Die pragtige uitsig, toegevou in bome met die bosgeluide om ons, was net wat ons nodig gehad het.

We had our honeymoon here. The place was clean, safe, and quiet. It had everything we needed.

A good place for rest and solitude for a short stay.

Kind and friendly hosts. Unfortunately the last half day of our stay we experienced torrential rain and the roof leaked in various sections of our cottage including the bedroom.

It was amazing and the host ensured we had everything we needed.

Accommodation in Heaven.

This is one of the best places we have stayed. The cottage is very well designed - beautiful views of the bush when you are lying on the bed- big sliding windows in the lounge. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you will need (and more!) Marcel is a fantastic host. Highly recommend this place for a break -away.

A weekend breakaway from busy city life to quiet forest life.

A weekend away was exactly what we needed, a breakaway from city life to life away from the busy city life, all windows open up to forest views, bird calls and tree life. The main photo shown does not serve justice to this place, rather show a photo of the 2 entrance doors. The shown photo is an open view underneath the lounge.

God's Window het ons verwagtinge oortref.

Ons beste boswegbreek ooit, weg van geraas, maar tog naby alles. Rustic, maar tog modern. Maksimum rus en vrede gewaarborg in 'n natuurlike ligging met asemrowende uitsigte. Dankie Marcel (die gasheer) vir jou hartlike verwelkoming.

Picturesque and serene.

Marcelle is a fantastic and very responsive host. He is always available to assist while still affording his guests ultimate privacy. The cottage is rustic with modern amenities and the little added touches like puzzles and card games make it just perfect. The view from the main unit is superb and it can be seen through every window of the house, perfect to enjoy a book or some quiet time. Everything was really clean too. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastiese mooi, skoon, vriedelik, hulpvaardig, omgee.

Ek beveel die God's Window Cottage blyplekkies 100% aan. Die blyplekkie is so mooi, skoon en netjies. Die omgewing buite huisie is ongelooflik mooi, lyk soos tropiesie woude. Die eienaar (oom) wie se plekkie dit is is so oulik, vriendelik en gee om oor jou. Hy wil als doen om jou verblyf daar net spesiaal te maak en seker te maak jys gemaklik, tevrede en geniet jou vakansie. Hy het ons selfs op sy eie boot uit gevat op die rivier sonder enige vrae of betaling, net sodat ons dit kan geniet. Ons wil baie graag weer teruggaan na sy plekkie toe en ons vriende en familie saam vat om dit saam ons te deel. (Net 'n "heads up" - daar is baie trappe en baie spinnekoppe buite in die bome - let wel niks gevaarlik of oorweldigend nie.)
