Description
Gondwana Game Reserve offers full-board and half-board accommodation and is located on an 11000-hectare private reserve approximately 64 km from George Airport. This establishment boasts a Big Five safari experience with awe-inspiring views of the Langeberg Mountains and is within 2 hours drive from many attractions in the Garden Route.
Accommodation at Gondwana Game Reserve comprises various luxury lodges, suites, tented glamping camps, and the Pioneer trail camping safari lodging.
The Kwena Suites are grouped together, overlooking a waterhole and located near the main building. Each suite comprises an open-plan layout and features an en-suite bathroom. Each suite contains a central skylight, a clay-pot fireplace, a dressing area, a safety deposit box, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and other amenities. These suites share a swimming pool and have access to a social lounge and bar, a tented bush spa, a curio shop, as well as indoor and outdoor dining locations.
The Bush and Fynbos Villas are private free-standing lodges, each consisting of 3 or 4 en-suite bedrooms and a central open-plan living and entertainment area. Each villa boasts stunning views of the reserve from a private outdoor deck that has braai facilities.
The prestigious Ulubisi House is ideal for discerning guests and comprises 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms, a central living and entertainment area, and a private deck and pool overlooking the reserve. This villa includes a private chef, a butler and a field guide.
The Tented Eco-camps are ideal for glamping and offer 3 or 5-night programs with an itinerary that includes plenty of game drives, bush walks, and downtime in an utterly inspiring landscape. Each structured tent is elevated and features an en-suite bathroom and a covered deck. All meals are provided in the recreational communal tent area, which includes a kitchen, a lounge, a dining area and covered deck areas, as well as an outdoor dining boma. There is a relaxation area with hammocks and a pool to cool off in.
The Pioneer trail-camping safari lodging offers adventure accommodation in remote tented fly camp locations with two full days of hiking. Each exclusive pack-up-and-go camp comprises 4 well-appointed tents with en-suite bathrooms, sleeping a maximum of 8 guests as well as fully furnished lounge and dining tents. Homemade African-inspired meals are catered for you around campfires, with cold beverages on tap.
