We were very fortunate to be fully occupied up until 14th January, 2022 which is a rare experience. Some of our guests do leave the chalets in a particularly bad state and it does take the ladies quite a while to get the unit sorted in time for the next arrival. In addition with the back to back bookings, it is extremely difficult to get the sleeper couches and carpets fully springcleaned between bookings. We are afraid, not every guest takes care of the rooms, and the abuse of the chalets is a very real experience, which really upsets both me and my staff as we really love and take care of our chalets.

We were horrified to read your comment and immediately visited the chalet to see where we had failed you, as our esteemed guest. We checked the curtains which were stained with varnish. This happened before we bought the resort which was in November 2019 and unfortunately, due to Covid there was a "no spend policy" to keep the company alive during Covid. We have since purchased new curtains, sorted out the all the complaints listed above. The sleeper couch is a double sleeper couch, perhaps you could consider a 6 sleeper on your next visit to Knysna Chalets.
