Description

Kudu Lodge is off the grid and operates with solar, gas and paraffin to run all the necessary life comfort things! It is the ideal retreat for those who want to bring their dog with them on holiday because it is the only lodge on the farm that's fenced in. The lodge is a large open plan bedroom furnished with a queen sized bed and enough books and games to keep everyone occupied. The room has an ensuite bathroom with an interesting paraffin unit for hot showers! Should you wish to bring little kids, we can easily fit in a bunk bed to the room to accommodate you all. Adjacent to the lodge is a kitchen and a lounge area with terrific views of the mountains. Satelite Wi-Fi is provided and solar power is used to charge computers and cell phones - that means, no load-shedding out here in the bushveld! Guests can enjoy the mountain view from the splash pool and easily fall in with night braai time while under a blanket of stars like no other. The lounge area is irresistible; kick back with a good book while enjoying the abundant bird songs around you.

Description

Serengeti's Tented Camp facility is the heart of the Serengeti Bush Campsite, right under 2 Marula Trees. It is perfect for those who want to camp but don't have their own tent. It is surrounded by mountains and is close to the zig-zag route taking 4x4 enthusiasts up into the mountains. Serengeti is completely off the grid and in nature... That means, you will enjoy lights powered by your car battery at night (it doesn't drain the battery), paraffin heated water for hot showers, gas powered fridge and freezer and a gas hob for cooking! There is limited cell phone signal - isn't that great?! The structure is open plan which shades a queen-size bed and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas-powered fridge freezer and a gas stove. There is a 6-seater farm table and a larger 10-seater picnic table under the Marula tree. Serengeti also has 4 camping sites that share an ablution block, a splash pool and a braai pit.

It is nestled at the foothills of a majestic mountain range, bringing you closer to nature. It has 4 camp sites, a camping ablution block with a paraffin shower, a braai area and splash pool that overlooks the Grootfontein valley. Camp Marula is perfect for self-sufficient camping enthusiasts who love to get away into the wilderness. We recommend 4x4 vehicles for this site - alternatively, please specify if you need help getting your camping equipment up there and our team is happy to help.

Nestled between 2 rocky ridges, Aloe Lodge offers a rock and thatch retreat from it all. Enjoy sweeping views from the rock pool and deck. The lodge has 3 bedrooms with queen-size beds, however single beds are also available for families needing extra beds in the rooms. Aloe Lodge has an open-plan kitchen, fully stocked with all you need to enjoy your weekend away. It has a spacious braai area for an evening to remember. Bigger groups can be accommodated with extra rooms and camp sites available close to Aloe Lodge.

Description

Mokwepa is our most remote lodge, located some 4kms into Grootfontein. One road in, one road out. Commanding views of the surrounding Waterberg Mountains dominate its every vista. Mokwepa has 4 bedrooms. The first two bedrooms have king size beds and both have outdoor bathrooms. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and the fourth room has a double bed; both of these rooms share an inside bathroom. There is a gas powered oven, a fridge/ freezer powered by gas, gas geysers for hot showers and satellite Wi-Fi. This lodge is powered by solar making it a 'nil-load-shedding' treat. Internet TV can be installed if you want to watch TV - otherwise, it's a minimum screen holiday home. There is a splash pool in the lounge room and a braai pit down a flight of stairs. Mokwepa has x4 camp sites as an extra for larger groups. The camping facilities involve an ablution block, a splash pool and braai pit overlooking the valley below.
