Description

Grotto Cottage is a spacious self-catering family home for up to 14 people in Hermanus, and is situated just 600 m from Grotto Beach.

Located in a large garden, the house comprises 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and 3 lounge areas. One of the bedrooms is furnished with twin beds, and has a bath en suite. Two of the bedrooms each contain twin beds, and have en-suite bathrooms with showers. Another 2 bedrooms each contain twin beds each, and the last room is furnished with 2 bunk beds.

The large kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.

Guests can relax in one of the cosy lounge areas, and the living room opens onto a large stoep with views of the garden and ocean. A private swimming is available for guests to use.

Hermanus offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, fishing, horseback riding tours, golfing, as well as whale watching between July to October. Guests can also visit the various wine estate and vineyards or explore the Fernkloof Nature Reserve for walking, and hiking, and cycling.
