Description
Hakusembe River Campsite is an idyllic location on the south bank of the Okavango River, overlooking Angola to the north. The campsite is nestled in the vegetation close to the riverbank, and is located in Namibia’s Caprivi Strip.
There are 4 campsites located under the shady trees on grass. Each campsite has a power point and braai facilities, and private ablution blocks and washing up areas. Campers are welcome to make use the of the lodge facilities, and have access to free Wi-Fi in public areas.
The lodge offers peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to cool off in the swimming pool, or with a drink at the bar. The restaurant offers cordon-bleu cooking, and there is a jetty and deck for boarding boats, or for relaxing and enjoying a drink.
The lodge offers river-based activities, subject to availability, a breakfast cruise, fishing and birding trips. A wonderful way to end the day, is to take the champagne sundowner cruise before enjoying dinner under the stars.
All water based activities will be limited or ceased should the water level be too low. The safety of our guests and team members comes first.
