Main Street 17 sucks!

We arrived for our check-in at 18h00 and there was no one to let us in. After hooting, waiting, phoning the contact number (no longer exists), another guest came to the gate. She phoned the new owner to ask what she must do. After about 30 min another lady - who helps the owner - showed us to Room 5. It was dismal and had no hot water. She then showed us the rooms inside the house and we chose one. She then left the property and we locked ourselves in. After the lack of assistance (who I have no idea what her name is), we decided to sleep the night which cost R950 for 2 B&B, and left at 7 am, not waiting for breakfast. We have still not had any apology or explanation from the owner. I would never recommend this guesthouse to anyone. A total rip-off! The only good thing was good quality linen and towels.

Next time in Prieska - it's the place to go!

Jeandri was very accommodating, very friendly and helpful. The house has everything that is required for a short stay and the breakfast the following morning was excellent. Very good value for money and thanks to Jeandri for the accommodation. Next time we pass through Prieska, we will definitely stop off there again.
