Was onaangenaam.

Die plek val uitmekaar en als is op 'n heling gebou. Geen braaigeriewe behalwe 'n ou drom wat een kant staan en dan moet jy kyk waar jy sit dat jy nie omval nie. Die badkamer se stort werk nie, die beddens is al verby vervaldatum. Sal nie weer daar wil bly nie al betaal hulle my!

Skokkend en onaanvaarbaar.

Die verblyf was bitter swak. 'n Verwaarloosde Wendy-huis met deure wat nie ordentlik toemaak nie. Die vloer het gleuwe in en die bittere koue waai deur die vloer. Verwarmers help nie eers nie. Die foto is nie dieselfde plek nie.

Stayed in Unit 4 for 2 nights. Would not go back or recommend. Not type of accommodation one expects to find when paying.

Unit was not what we expected. Can only describe it as what you would probably set up for a teenage son or daughter with whatever you have lying around. There is no aircon or fans in the unit. Bedroom section has no windows, so we ended up sleeping with the door open for ventilation and cooling. Door looks straight onto main bed. Bed mattresses are warn and slept through. No top sheets and only a duvet and a cheap extra blanket, which we fortunately did not need. Bathroom walls were wet with condensation running down them and causing ponds on floor. This was so bad that the towels were damp. Ceiling and cornices are mouldy and tile joints also. One bathroom window totally broken off the hinges and there is no burglar bars on the bathroom windows. Kitchen section was not much better. Crockery and cutlery appears to be made up of donations. 2 plate stove is either dirty or old (burnt). Inside of cupboards smells mouldy. Fridge is supported on a wooden block in an attempt to lever it. It's old but works. While sitting outside on both evenings, I was visited by a rather large rat or 2, which is not surprising considering the amount of firewood and other trash lying around. Walkway down to the unit from the parking is almost non-existent with a few pieces of concrete and odd paving stone, none of which are level. Also no signage from the road and sliding gate is manual, which is awkward. On a positive note, the unfenced property which flows into the conservancy, has a spectacular view. Also had an issue with the owner regarding the payment, and was not impressed by the harassment. Conclusion is that this type of accommodation should not be on the website. Perhaps the wendy house units (not log cabins) are slightly better, but I won't be going back to find out!

Beautiful area, value for money, but poor service.

When I woke up on the day of my departure, there was no electricity in my unit and the owner's phone was off. No one came until 08:00 and I was late for a meeting. I gave their staff my clothes for ironing, but were returned all wrinkled as if they weren't ironed at all.

We are so sorry you were late. Our reliance on the municipality for power is certainly a weakness and please accept our apologies. When there is no power, it becomes hard to keep the phones charged and it is even harder to iron. We would like to offer you a free stay when you back in the area so we could in some way express our sorry at the inconvenience we have caused you. Please do contact us so we can assist.

We have no check out times so the staff to allow the guests to sleep in. If you could give us a time to wake you we up from 4 am so can certainly bring you hot water for tea or coffee. We had no note so our staff allowed you to sleep. Sorry about that.
