Description
Izintaba Lodge is situated on a private game farm, located just 290 km north of OR Tambo International Airport, outside of Vaalwater in the Waterberg.
Izintaba Lodge has the capacity to accommodate up to 15 guests across 5 bedrooms and a loft. On the lower level, there are 3 en-suite bedrooms furnished with king-size beds. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are furnished with 3 single beds. These 2 upstairs bedrooms share an inter-leading bathroom. Additionally, there is a spacious loft room on the upper level with 3 single beds and a double sleeper couch if required.
The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring a combination fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, 2 stoves, and 2 ovens, one electric and the other gas. Guests can enjoy an open-plan lounge and dining area as well as a bar with a pool table. Other amenities include a private swimming pool at the private the braai area and lapa.
Izintaba Lodge serves as an ideal family holiday destination, extending a warm welcome to children of all ages. It grants guests the freedom to savour the bush at their own pace, whether through walking, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, birdwatching, or embarking on a game drive within the Lodge's expansive 1200-ha game reserve. Alternatively, guests can opt for a game drive in their own vehicle or utilize the Lodge's game viewer, all while enjoying the comforts of the farm. The Lodge further offers 2 sunset decks with breathtaking views of the Waterberg, 2 picnic sites, and a dam for fishing enthusiasts.
