There was no TV for the teenagers to occupy themselves. The living room is upstairs which made things a bit difficult. You have to smoke outside but there was no roof so the men must have been standing in the rain. It was solar geysers so the hot water was a problem and the lady informed us when we checked out that there was a switch we could switch. She did say we had to ask her, but we had terrible trouble with cell phone reception. We feel that she did know what the weather forecast was and she could have mentioned it to us in advance. The WiFi doesn't really work upstairs, only downstairs.

We will make some adjustments to our house in the next few weeks. There is a television for our guests available. We do ask you to bring your own device, perhaps you have missed that information? We do have a smart television waiting for us, so this will be added but I don’t advertise with that yet.
Unfortunately during your stay, the weather was bad. We can’t do anything about the weather. We do have a small ‘afdak’ at the front of the house. I guess the weather was too bad to have enough cover against the rain. During your stay there was load shedding and this combined with bad weather causes failures in the (mobile) network. This is the bush and we don’t have the same facilities and coverage as in the city. We are happy we do have Wi-Fi, but it’s not as evident in the bush as in urban surroundings. We will try to adjust this in the coming weeks as we just got fiber. We need to install new equipment to get better coverage in the house. But as said Wi-Fi in the bush is something different than in the city.
