Description
The Kalahari Game Lodge is a luxury private game ranch situated near the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park on the south-eastern border of Namibia. This oasis, surrounded by red sand, is a mere 18 km west of the Mata-Mata border post, making it easily accessible for not only visitors in Namibia, but also those visiting South Africa.
The lodge comprises 8 luxury en-suite chalets with features that include ceiling fans, air-conditioning and mosquito nets. Each chalet boasts a private patio with idyllic views of the Auob river and the dunes beyond.
For the more adventurous visitors, Kalahari Game Lodge boasts 6 exclusive campsites located in the picturesque Auob riverbed. These campsites are widely spread and approximately 100 meters apart. Each is equipped with private ablution facilities, washing up and BBQ area with solar lighting and wood-fired donkey boiler for hot water. Housekeeping attends to each campsite daily.
An onsite restaurant and pool area is available to all guests staying at the lodge and the bar offers refreshments throughout the day.
