Description

Khamab Kalahari Reserve is a truly intimate and private wilderness experience where guests have the privilege of having the entire reserve to themselves. Khamab Kalahari Reserve is reached by a transfer from Kimberley Airport, private chartered flight, or via road if you have a high clearance vehicle.

Accommodation is offered in various air-conditioned units, each tastefully furnished. The rooms are either furnished with twin beds or king-size beds, and have their own private bathrooms fitted with baths, showers, basins, and toilets. The Ngaphiwane rooms are the only rooms with only a shower. Outdoor showers are also available. Crisp linen and towels are provided.

In true safari style, dinner is prepared and served outside in the boma, with a campfire providing a cosy atmosphere. When the weather is not suitable, delicious home-style cooking is served on the dining room deck overlooking the waterhole, or in the dining room next to the fireplace. Lunch is often served in the shade of a camelthorn tree, while a wonderful fireside dinner under the stars creates a backdrop that not even the best restaurants can match.

The lodge has a stunning swimming pool and a poolside bar where guests can cool down and relax on hot summer afternoons. Guests can also enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned bar and lounge inside the lodge with an outside deck overlooking the waterhole.
