Comfortable and relaxing but the surroundings were not remarkable.

Our stay at Bush Cottage at Klein Watervalplaas was relaxing. “We were glad of the trees around the cottage to provide some shade and privacy.”. The hosts were helpful, friendly, and responsive. The on-site restaurant was a convenient bonus, with good meals, a friendly vibe, and some local musicians on the Friday evening we were there. The alpacas and farmyard animals will appeal to the children. There is not a lot to do on the farm itself besides swimming in the dam and the fynbos walk. The weather wasn't great for us, but just chilling and chatting around the fire was good.

Lekker huisie, maar nie baie privaatheid nie.

Die huisie is redelik goed ingerig en het lekker geriewe, soos die kaggel en houtverwarmde swembadjie, maar daar is nie baie privaatheid nie. Ons het in die Milking Shed gebly en dis reg oorkant die ontvangs waar die eienaars ook bly, so daar is gereeld mense wat daar verby loop. Rustig en ontspanne waar mens batterye kan herlaai.

Ons het drie nagte oorgebly, geen kaste om klere in uit te pak nie maar oorgenoeg spasie om die plaas te ontdek en ontspan. Kinders het al die diere op die plaas geniet en die 'strand' by die dam. Lekker baie skaduwee om die huisie wat bietjie meer eenkant staan en meer privaat is. Ons het lekker ontspan en dit baie geniet.

We stayed three nights, no closets to unpack clothes in but plenty of space to discover the farm and relax. Children enjoyed all the animals on the farm and the 'beach' at the dam.
