Kom Gou Weer is a charming and delightful home, situated on a farm just outside the village of Van Wyksdorp. The property is surrounded by scenic mountains and the house is just a short walk from the river on the premises. Guests will be able to engage with the chickens and Muscovy ducks on the farm.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 2 large guest rooms with separate entrances and their own bathrooms. Once of the rooms has a kitchenette equipped with a gas-plate stove, small fridge, kettle, and crockery and cutlery. Guests have access to an outside braai area. Guests should bring their own drinking water as there are water shortages in the Klein Karoo.

The area is paradise for nature enthusiasts with walking and hiking trails.

The little Karoo village of Van Wyksdorp lies on the R327 from Ladismith, just off the well-known R62, in the foothills of the Rooiberg mountains. It is the type of town described as a 'typical Karoo drop', a rural town in essence in the heart of Kannaland. The little town is rustic and untouched, and offers quaint shops, coffee shops and the 'Town Mall'.

Much of the countryside around the town is a conservancy, and the town lies within what is knows as the Gouritz Corridor one of 35 biodiversity hot spots in the world. Van Wyksdorp is also part of the Kanna Biodiversity Route and the Gouritz initiative. Water comes from a natural mountain spring known as 'The Eye'.
