Description

Kudu Cottage is a cosy self-catering wooden cabin located on a beautiful farm just off the R541 and is situated 24 km from Machadodorp. It also boasts tall ceilings and large windows which have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and greenery.

This cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Another 2 single beds are also available in the loft space. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom.

The open-plan living features a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a dining table with ample seating for guests to enjoy their meals together. The lounge has comfy seating where guests can relax with a book.

Outside the cabin, there is a lovely patio with outdoor seating and braai facilities which is an ideal spot for guests to enjoy a sundowner in the middle of the trees. Guests are afforded secure parking on the property.

This farm offers 60 km of some of the best inland hiking trails with waterfalls, indigenous mountain forests and the sandstone rock formations of the Skurweberg and the Komatiriviervallei can all be walked right from the lodge. Various game species and unusual, area-specific birds can be seen.
