Thank you for your feedback and for bringing the balcony doors to our attention, we have had maintenance around now to oil the doors they are much easier to slide open as they should always be.
With regards to the other doors are you referring to the bedroom doors. We were not aware that there was an issue, however, maintenance went around and the doors do seem to be a bit swollen and advised this is most likely due to the apartment being situated on the beach. This has also been seen to now.

The check-in was conducted with your daughter Kirstyn as you were travelling from PE and still had to pick up your other daughter from Stellenbosch so not sure why you would say the check-in procedure took 1 hour. We motivate and ask guest to please read all documentation regarding your booking to ensure you complete and send back all required info and forms before check-in to avoid a lengthy check-in that takes up to around 30 min if not done prior to check-in. The check-in form is a short online form for ease of completion and not having to print, complete, scan and send back. Also note, that the check-in host takes photos of the apartment in the best interest of everyone to ensure when claims are put in on check out that photos can be reviewed to sustain or decline the claim. We regret that your concerns raised on your review about the apartment not being cleaned properly, things that stopped working or fused was not reported during your stay to allow us the opportunity to action the necessary and ensure you a pleasant stay. Took an hour and a half to check in. Had to pay a deposit for breakages, and is still waiting for our refund after almost 2 weeks.

Had to wait three quarters of an hour for receiving a key where we were told that we could not stay in the reserved room, as the water heater had to be replaced first. We were also informed that the covered parking mentioned in the advertisement was only for hotel guests and had to we park in the street.. Safe parking is the 1st reason when I make reservations, so this information on their ad is false. We also had to pay a cash deposit of R10000.00, which would be paid back to us after ten days. We were taken to another room, but would be transferred again the next day to the originally booked room. Next day we had to wait an hour and a half again for the new room's key on arrival because the responsible person forgot to hand it over. At the time of our departure everything was in order and to the best of our knowledge in the condition we found it. More than 10 days passed before I had to make an inquiry regarding the deposit. R500 was refunded. When asked why only half of the deposit was refunded, the answer was that it was due to breakage. To this day, there is still no answer or feedback about what damage there was. This is not acceptable. We have no complaints regarding the accommodation itself. It was comfortable with a beautiful view.
