Description
Lakeview Villa is an artfully decorated, modern Balitecture home with brush strokes of Bohemian decor and furnishings. The spacious yet private home overlooks the Vermont salt pan with the spectacular Onrus mountains in the backdrop completing the canvas of luxurious peace and relaxation.
This double-story self-catering house offers accommodation for 8 guests and is ideal for larger families or groups of friends. The house hosts a double-volume living area with a cosy fireplace, lounge, and a 6-seater dining room table leading into the large open-plan kitchen that is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. In addition, there's a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer available in the separate scullery. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The ground floor bedroom boasts direct access to the garden and is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a large shower, basin, and toilet. On the first floor, there are 3 en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom overlooks the lake and is stylishly furnished with a queen-size bed. It has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom features a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds and has its own private lounge area and adjoining kitchenette with a library while the third bedroom has a queen-size bed and a small balcony overlooking the salt pan. Both the second and third bedrooms upstairs have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower. All linen and towels are provided.
An expansive work-from-home area joins 2 wings of the house and permits endless daydreaming while work mingles with nature, avid birdlife, and marvellous lake views.
The living area leads out onto a private courtyard area on the one side, and an undercover built-in braai area on the lakeside. It is surrounded by a stunning, landscaped garden and terrace. The courtyard has numerous patio chairs and a beautiful mosaic sitting area covered with the lush green of trees for hot summer days, yet much-needed protection against seasonal winds. There are board games for kids and an automated garden sprinkler system.
The villa features a complete alarm system. Ample space is provided for secure parking both in the double garage and in front of it. This property is located a short drive away from local shops and the coastal paths.
