Description

This charming self catering cottage can be found in the heart of the Elephant Coast and on the doorstep of Sodwana Bay and Zululand. The St Lucia World Heritage wetland is down the road and is the ideal sleep-over and resting spot when visiting Mozambiek.

This cottage can accommodate 2 guests in a luxurious, and spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom, as well as a private outside shower under a 150 year old Lebombo tree. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an idustrial fan, while the en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. All linen and towels are provided.

This cottage has a kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, 2-plate gas stove, basic crockery, and cutlery, as well as tea-and coffee-making facilities. The cottage has a lovely patio that is surrounded by majestic Lebombo Wattle Trees, that is around 100 and 200 years old, some even dating back to 500 and 1500 years ago, and features a covered braai area that is equipped with a braai grid and 3-legged cast iron pot. Guests have access to parking next to the cottage and and free Wi-Fi. The property also boasts solar electricity which powers the Wi-Fi, lights and fan when during times when there is no electricity supply. Laundry services are available at an additional cost.

This property is within close proximity to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Wildreserve, Hluhluwe Pineapple tours, St Lucia, hippo and crocodile tours, as well as hiking and biking trails, fishing spots, scuba diving, snorkelling, and various restaurants and shops to choose from. River charters can also be arranged. Guests may be serenaded by the enchanting sounds of traditional Zulu music from the neighbourhood.
