Lethabong Lodge

Description

The campsites are level grass covered sites with electricity and water points. Each site has its own private ablution with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Guests using the camping facilities to bring their own adaptors. At dusk, you can sit back and enjoy a cold one while listening to the crested francolins’ call and the crackle of your campfire.

Rates displayed are on a camping basis, and guests are required to bring along their own equipment.

House Rules

- Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire from the establishment about the condition of the gravel road before booking.
- A refundable key/breakage deposit is payable at check in, which key deposit is refundable within 7 days after check out. In the alternative, guests can arrange an outgoing inspection the night before checkout for the key deposit to be refunded during checkout.
- No motorbikes and/or ATV 4-wheelers are allowed at the lodge.
- Please consider other guests by keeping noise levels as low as possible.
- Silence must be maintained between 22:00 and 07:00.
- During out of season midweek, there may be conferences and/or school group at the lodge.
- No pets are allowed, except guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired.
- Laundry service is available on request, at an additional cost.
- Smoking in lodge rooms and safari tents is strictly prohibited. Failure to adhere hereto may result in a fine.
- The lodge rooms, luxury tents and the campsites are serviced daily.
- Guests must provide their own swimming towels and dishcloths.
- No music from motor vehicles or private sound systems/equipment is permitted.

Camping site:
- Guests using the camping facilities to bring their own power pointer adaptor.
- The standard size of a camp stand is 15m x 15m.

Day Visitors:
- A maximum of 80 day-visitors are allowed at the lodge per day.
- Day-visitors to pre-book visits and full online payment is required prior to visit.
- Group bookings for day visitors are limited to 10 people per group.
- No outside food or drink is permitted as we have all needed amenities.

Water Park:
- The water park will be operational from 09:00 to 18:00.
- Guests are welcome to bring camp chairs and beach umbrellas.
- Swimming towels are not provided and guests should bring their own
- Backrests are free and are available to all guests on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Chairs are available to the elderly and disabled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- No refunds or discounts will be awarded due to any slide or water feature being out of order.
- No refunds or discounts will be awarded due to bad weather.
- Designated smoking areas are available, as indicated on the signage provided.
- Proper swimwear to be worn at all times. You may be restricted from using some of the water features if this is not adhered to.
- All sliders for tube slides and body slides must be the length indicated on signage at each slide.
- No one may accompany a child shorter than length as indicated on signage at each slide.
- All rules of the water park and the directions of the lifeguard on duty, to be obeyed at all times. Failure to comply with water park rules or the directions of the lifeguard could result in guests’ removal.

Game Drives:
- Guests to remain seated during game-drives, unless given permission to do otherwise by the game-ranger.
- Guests to keep their voices down during game-drives.
- Cell phones to be kept on silence during game-drives.
- Do not attempt to distract or reach out to wild animals.
- Unless given permission, do not eat or drink whilst the game vehicle is driving.
- Guests are permitted to take photographs of animals, but the animals should at all times be respected.
- Obey the game rangers demands at all times.

Cancellation Policy

Description

The Lodge Rooms are 7 side-by-side rooms, each with their own private entrance, located on the second-storey of the main lodge building. Each Lodge Room can accommodate 4 guests and contains a double bed, 2 single beds, and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The rooms are air-conditioned and have a flat-screen TV. Each room has its own kitchenette fitted with a fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Each room opens to a balcony with a picnic table and a gas braai. Guests in the Lodge Rooms can also make use of the communal wood braai facilities.

Description

The Luxury Safari Tents are standalone permanent safari tents that can each accommodate up to 6 guests. Each tent contains 2 double beds, an additional single bed with a pull-out single mattress underneath, and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The tents are air-conditioned and contain a TV. Each tent has a dining table with stools, a lounge area, and a kitchen area that is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and an induction plate. Each tent opens to a private covered patio with picnic benches and seating, a firepit, built-in braai, and a private splash pool.
