House Rules
The house has no electricity but has a working cold room, a gas freezer, and a coal stove to warm the house on winter nights. There is also battery operated lanterns and oil lamps for lighting. Hot water is supplied by a wood-fired ‘donkey’ heater.
The house is located on a working farm so expect to see tractors and farm animals passing.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. The road is bumpy and not recommended for very small, low clearance, vehicles, however, 4x4 is not necessary.
