Living the Breede - Wooden House is a spacious double-storey self-catering wooden house, set right on the water’s edge in Malagas. Malagas is a settlement on the banks of the Breede River framed by the Potberg Mountain range, 30 km south-east of Swellendam and 280 km or a 2 and a half hour drive from Cape Town.
The Wooden House can accommodate up to 10 guests and contains 5 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms. The first, second, third and fourth bedrooms each contain a double bed. The fifth bedroom contains 2 single beds. 3 of the bathrooms contain a shower only. The fourth bathroom contains a shower and a bath.
There is also an additional cottage that can sleep 3 people with 3 single beds, a shower, its own kitchenette and a private braai area that is available at an extra cost.
Downstairs on the first floor, there is a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, and a microwave. Upstairs is a beautiful 12-seater dining table with bay windows, a built-in braai, TV, and a kitchenette with a bar fridge.
The house has a garden with built-in braai facilities, and outdoor dining furniture. It also has its own private jetty and slipway.
