Loch Maree is like an oasis. Everything you could wish for in the middle of nowhere.

We loved the remoteness of LM. Comfortable accommodation and well-appointed. The salt lake was amazing! However, it would be helpful to have a sign at the T-junction to direct visitors to the guest farm.

Ek het baie lekker gebly! Loch Maree is 'n baie oulike plek vir enige iemand/paartjie/groep wat in die Kalahari reis of spesiaal wil deurry vir 'n lekker kuier-naweek. Fantastic Kalahari dune 4x4 route.

We want to thank Loot for his hospitality during our visit. Ice was even delivered to us at our campsite after a long day in the dunes. The campsite was clean and even braai wood was supplied. The solar heated open shower was something to experience early in the mornings. Very very refreshing with an open sky above you. The 4x4 route is worth every cent and sand dunes could be driven at any level. I thought an FJ can not get stuck in the sand. Even the ladies had to assist to dig it out - great fun. To prepare and have lunch in the desert is something to be experienced. This is a MUST for any person with an appetite for sand dunes We will be back for more fun. Many thanks Loot!

Amazing, well equipped bush camp with all the luxuries!

We had a great stay at Loch Maree, the bush camp is beautiful and fully equipped! The owners are most friendly and made us feel right at home!
