Description

Makhato 84 Bush Lodge is located in the Sondela Nature Reserve in the Limpopo Province, which is just outside the town of Bela-Bela. The lodge is approximately 90 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport and Sandton.

This unit can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises of 2 bedrooms and a loft area. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a basin, corner bath and shower. The second bedroom has 2 double beds. The open-plan loft area has 4 single beds. The second and third bedroom share a bathroom with a corner bath, basin and shower.

The open-plan living area is equipped with comfortable couches, a flat screen TV and full DStv. Leading out from the loft area is a wooden deck area with a table and 4 chairs, overlooking the braai area and beautiful views of the bush. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, pots, cutlery and crockery. The entertainment area comprises a spacious veranda with an 8-seater dining room table, gas heater, gas skottelbraai and Weber braai. The veranda leads to an outdoor boma with a large braai area and camping chairs.

All rooms include linen and towels; guests must bring along their own swimming towels.

Sondela Nature Reserve offers a variety of wildlife interaction, nature walks and safaris. The reserve is teeming with Njalas and other wildlife like giraffe, blue wildebeest, zebra, warthog, mongoose and many other species. Activities and facilities available at Sondela include mountain bike trails, game drives, children's playground, horse riding, 4x4, swimming pool, tennis court and hiking trails.
