Description
Makhato Lodge 110 is a lovely self-catering home located in the Sondela Nature Reserve near Bela Bela. The Sondela Nature Reserve in the Limpopo Province is a private game reserve just 150 km from Johannesburg, where you can enjoy the tranquillity of the bushveld, encounters with zebra, kudu, impala, and giraffe, or indulge in a spot of birdwatching.
This double-story property can accommodate 8 guests at a time and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms are each comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed and feature en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath and shower. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds, while the fourth loft bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. These bedrooms share the use of the third bathroom, which is also fitted with a bath and shower. Quality linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a central breakfast bar with stools. A tumble dryer is also available in the separate scullery. The adjacent lounge has comfortable couches and a large flat-screen TV with DStv channels.
The living area has sliding doors that open onto the covered patio with a built-in braai, bar fridge, and outdoor seating. Additionally, there is an outside boma and braai area. There is a double carport under thatch and plenty of additional parking space. The lodge is ideally located 100 m away from a swimming pool, which is for the exclusive use of Makhato guests.
Sondela offers an on-site restaurant and bar, a farmyard coffee shop, a general store for basic necessities, communal swimming pools, a wildlife center, and a Wellness Spa.
