Description
Map of Africa Accommodation is situated on a 5-hectare farm in Hoekwil in Wilderness, with lovely views of the forest and ocean. Comfortable accommodation is offered in a farm house and a guest house. The property offers an abundant bird life, and is located some distance from the N2 highway, so guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The Farm House is old and offers practical living. It can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and 2 bedrooms with a single bed in each. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The open-plan kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, mini-oven, stove, and microwave. The living area includes a dining table and chairs, and a lounge with a TV, and leads onto a verandah with built-in braai facilities and lovely sea and forest views.
The Ocean View Guest House can accommodate 2 guests and comprises a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with a bath and shower. An additional bed can be arranged for a child or 1 adult at an additional cost. The guest house comprises an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge and oven and stove, and the living area includes a dining table and chairs, and a lounge. The guest house features a verandah with braai facilities.
Guests that make use of the camping facilities have a choice of 10 grassed sites and each site has the capacity to accommodate 5 guests. The sites share communal ablution facilities that are fitted with 2 showers, basins and toilets. Each campsite is equipped with a power point and but guests are required to bring their own braai equipment. There is a communal kitchen that is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, basic crockery and cutlery.
The location offers access to a number of attractions and activities on the Garden Route, including beaches, Map of Africa View Point, and hiking trails.
