Description
Meerlust is a farm-style, self-catering home ideally located approximately 30 km before Graaff-Reinet if coming from Middelburg. This unit boasts beautiful mountain and valley views and is ideal for guests seeking a secluded holiday.
This house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The other bedrooms are each furnished with 2 three-quarter beds. The other bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin, and is shared by guests. This unit also has a guest toilet available. All linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The living area features a lounge area, a dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge area is furnished with a comfortable lounge suite. The dining area is furnished with a dining table with 8 chairs and a fireplace. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.
Guests have access to a large patio with comfortable outdoor furniture that boasts beautiful views of the mountains, the valley and the swimming pool area. With your vehicle securely parked a peaceful night’s rest in Graaf Reinet is at hand.
Delicious complimentary roosterkoeke are served to guests. Butter, honey, milk, juice, a variety of coffees and teas, as well as a personal treat are included. Charlotte Rhys soap, shampoo and body lotion are provided. 2 bags of firewood is also provided whereafter it will be available for R20 per bag.
Please take notice that Meerlust is a working farm and uses solar energy. The house is therefore not affected by load shedding, but solar energy is not an inexhaustible source and guests must please use the power and water sparingly.
Please note that a dirt road of 12 km leads to Meerlust.
