Melkboomsdrift Guest House & Conference Centre is situated in the heart of the Olifants River valley, between Vredendal and Lutzville. This working wine farm with a restored farmhouse is an ideal stop-over between Cape Town and Namibia along the N7, with the West Coast 33 km away for whale spotting.

Accommodation is offered in a variety of en-suite guest rooms. Some rooms have a kitchenette which is equipped with a 2-plate stove and mini-oven, a bar fridge, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and other rooms have heat-and-eat facilities which include a microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Kapokbossie, Leeubekkie and Bloubekkie are in the same house and have access to communal kitchen and lounge facilities. Twin Room - Kamer 1 and Twin Room - Kamer 2 can be interlinked, and Twin Room - Kamer 3 and Twin Room - Kamer 4 can be interlinked for families.

Guests can relax at the pool overlooking the Olifants river and vineyards. A farm breakfast, dinner and picnic baskets are available upon request.

There are conference facilities available and can accommodate up to 20 delegates in an air-conditioned room with the necessary equipment available on request.

The guest house is located on the fertile banks of the Olifants River, on the famous South African west coast, offering everything and more to the battle-weary businessman or adventurous tourist.
