Description
Melkbos Sea Cottage is a delightful self-catering beach cottage built in the seventies and was meticulously renovated to be more modernized. This is a great option for a family getaway as this property offers direct access to the beach. This cottage can comfortably accommodate 8 guests at a time and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The main bedroom is on the top level furnished with a queen-sized bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin, and separate toilet. The 2 spacious ground-level bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and feature a shared bathroom fitted with a bath and shower fixed over the bath. The last ground-level bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from this kitchen is a cosy lounge with comfy seating, a TV with Netflix, and a fireplace which is a great spot for guests to relax with a book. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. During load shedding, this property is backed with a solar power system.
Outside, there is a private patio with a table and chairs where guests can enjoy a lovely cup of coffee with a gorgeous sea view and direct beach access. Additionally, this property has a heated swimming pool for guests to enjoy during the winter and summer months. Guests are afforded secure parking on the property.
